10 TIPS FOR FLAVORING YOUR WATER
Summer is just around the corner and, as always, I'd like to remind you of the importance of staying hydrated. We often drink too little water, and many people are looking for tips on how to stay well hydrated all day long. Since our bodies are made up of around 60% water, it's important to make up for losses due to perspiration, among other things. A woman needs an estimated 2.2 L of water a day, while a man needs 3 L. In hot weather or during physical activity, these needs increase, making it all the more important to stay hydrated. There's no reason why you can't enjoy a good glass of water! Mine? Always have some water on hand, which I flavour myself to combine business with pleasure!
10 tips for flavouring your water :
Use fresh produce
1- Citrus fruits are a must for giving water a thirst-quenching taste. Simply adding a few slices of lemon or lime to your glass will instantly brighten up your beverage!
2- Berries are simply perfect for adding a touch of sweetness to your water, whether still or sparkling! When they're not in season, I opt for the frozen version, easily found in supermarkets. Just add a few berries, and you'll be able to enjoy a divine-tasting, attractively-colored beverage!
3- Vegetables, like cucumbers, are a welcome addition to your water. Don't hesitate to eat the cucumber slices once you've reached the desired taste. Crunchy under the tooth!
4- Fine herbs, cold water and a beautiful reusable bottle = a thirst-quenching and attractive beverage! My favorite combinations: strawberry-basil, grapefruit-thyme and lime-mint.
Make your pitcher attractive
5- My "melon ice cubes" are my signature drink when I have friends over on a hot day! Simply freeze melon balls (watermelon, honeydew melon and cantaloupe) in advance and add them to your water pitcher for maximum freshness. Color and flavor to match!
6- An elegant water pitcher? Create flower ice cubes! Place edible flowers in an ice cube tray, add water and place in the freezer. Not only will these ice cubes give your water pitcher a romantic look, but as the ice melts, a light floral flavor will emerge!
7- Having a brunch? Don't hesitate to add water to your pitcher of freshly squeezed juice. Not only will it help keep you hydrated, it will also reduce your sugar intake!
Enjoy the benefits of infusions
8- Did you know that tea and coffee also help you stay hydrated? Yes, they do! Be careful, however, not to exceed 250-300 mg of caffeine per day, otherwise the effect will be more diuretic, contributing to dehydration. Personally, I love my matcha, whether I drink it hot or cold. It keeps me hydrated at all times!
9- A permanent pitcher of iced tea or herbal tea in my fridge is a must for summer! I choose the flavours that suit me and avoid adding sugar, so I can enjoy a natural, thirst-quenching product.
10- Don't have the patience to brew tea or herbs for hours on end? I've got the solution for you! Thanks to a partnership with Urbanithé, here are my brand-new cold-brew infusions in individual format! A practical, tasty alternative for people in a hurry! Stay tuned for my new flavours!

Merci
