I have voluntarily decided to resign from the Ordre des diététistes-nutritionnistes du Québec in March 2020. Since the titles of dietitian and nutritionist are reserved for members of the Order, I can no longer use these titles. As I hold a doctorate in nutrition, I hold the title of Doctor of Nutrition. After studying psychology and occupational therapy at university, I completed 13 years of studies in nutrition (bachelor's, master's and doctorate). In order to hold the title of nutritionist, one must complete a bachelor's degree in nutrition of a maximum of 4 years, so I have 9 more years of university studies than the average nutritionist member of the Order.
