HOMEMADE CHICKEN BROTH

FAIRE SON PROPRE BOUILLON DE POULET MAISON SUR LE BLOGUE SANTÉ D'ISABELLE HUOT DOCTEURE EN NUTRITION

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken (+ or - 2 kg)
  • enough water to cover
  • 1 onion, cut into 4
  • 2 carrots, cut into pieces
  • 2 branches of celery, cut into pieces
  • 2-3 laurel sheets
  • pepper in grains
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) of salt


Steps

1 - In a large pot, put all the ingredients and cover with cold water (1 inch above).


2 - bring to a boil. Reduce the fire to obtain light tremors.


3 - cook from 2 to 3 hours. Remove from heat. Leave to temperment. Remove the chicken, defeat in pieces and keep well for future recipes.


4 - Pass the broth in sieve.


5 ** keeps very well 1 week in the refrigerator or 6 months in the freezer.
