10 IDEAS FOR REINVENTING YOUR COOKIES

Pimper vos recettes de biscuits avec ces 10 idées signées Isabelle Huot Docteure en nutrition.

Who doesn't love cookies? Created in a variety of flavors, they're sure to please young and old alike! They go just as well with a lunch at work as they do with a family afternoon at the weekend.

My mixes are perfect for making tasty cookies in a fraction of the time! All dry ingredients are portioned for you. Just add the liquid ingredients, stir and bake. While they're delicious in their original round, fluffy state, how about a few tips for reinventing my cookies?

10 tips to transform my cookies :

1- Are you a chocolate fan like me? Add chocolate chunks to my oat, cranberry and chia cookie mix. I recommend my 70% dark chocolatemade with oats and elderberry juice for a happy marriage!

2- It's a hot day! Why not make ice cream sandwiches with 2 small cookies? Simply place a scoop of ice cream or sorbet between 2 cookies, and you're ready to enjoy an icy dessert.

3- Add a heart of spread to the cookies to give them a fruity look! Before baking, make a small hole in the center of each cookie. Top with a tablespoon of fruit spread. My favorite combination: my strawberry chia spread with my oatmeal, chocolate and chia cookies!

4- These little stuffed cookie balls will blow your mind! Freeze small balls of nut butter or chocolate spread until they're set enough to handle easily. Coat with cookie mix and place in oven as directed. Crunch and enjoy!

5- Just a few pieces, please? Spread the oat, cranberry and chia cookie mix on a baking sheet in a thin, even layer and bake until a golden brown appears. Cool and break into pieces. This cookie crumble is the perfect accompaniment to yogurt, ice cream or fruit salad!

6- In the same way as the crumble, spread a thin layer of the oatmeal, chocolate and chia cookie mix onto a baking sheet and bake until crisp. Leave to cool, spread with natural peanut butter and add banana slices. Cut into squares. This crunchy cookie will take you back to childhood, guaranteed!

7- You're in the mood for a tender muffin, but don't have anything on hand to prepare it? No problem! Use my oat, chocolate and chia cookie mixAdd 250 ml (1 cup) milk, 80 ml (1⁄3 cup) canola oil and 1 egg and mix. Then place this mixture in muffin tins and bake at 350 ℉ for 35 minutes. You'll be amazed!

8- Looking for a breakfast that's out of the ordinary without spending hours behind the stove? Place my oat, chocolate and chia cookie mix in a bowl, add 400 ml (1 ⅔ cup) of milk, 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of oil and 2 eggs, and you've got a quick pancake mix! Then cook the mixture in a non-stick pan and top with syrup and fresh fruit! A real treat!

9- For a different kind of dessert, try my little cups made with my oat, cranberry and chia cookie mix! After combining the dry mixture with the liquid ingredients, line muffin tins with the mixture. Add a ball of aluminum foil to the center of each mold, which will prevent the dough from rising in the middle. Place in the oven for an initial 15-minute baking time. Remove from the oven and remove the aluminum foil. Place the baked cups upside down in the molds and bake for a further 5 minutes, allowing the crust to dry. Once the cups have cooled, yogurt, fruit or pudding will be perfect for topping!

10- Looking for a pie that's sure to impress? Combine my oat, cranberry and chia cookie mix with the liquid ingredients and mix. Line a 9-inch baking dish with the mixture and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for a further 5 minutes to allow the bottom of the crust to dry out. Personally, I then pour in a homemade chocolate chia pudding mix and leave to set in the fridge overnight. A different, healthy pie!

Enjoy!
