SLOW-COOKED CHICKEN WITH OLIVES AND FETA

POULET OLIVES ET FÉTA À LA MIJOTEUSE

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts (about 900 g)
  • 10 ml (2 tbsp) of vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 1 box of 540 ml of tomatoes In dice
  • 1 box of 156 ml of tomato paste
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) of ketchup
  • 15 ml (1 tsp) of maple syrup
  • 125 ml (½ cup) of black olives, pitted
  • 1 box of 540 ml of black beans, rinsed and drained
  • spicy sauce, to taste
  • 2 ml (1/2 tbsp) of dried basil
  • 2 ml (1/2 tsp) of dried oregano
  • 125 ml (½ cup) of feta cheese, crumbled


Steps

1 -Cover the chicken into uniform size cubes.


2 Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add olive oil then brown the chicken.


3 -During this time, mince the garlic and The onion.


4 -Place all the ingredients in the slow cooker. Mix.


5 -Cook at low intensity, for 6 hours.


6 -When serving, add the crumbled feta cheese.
